As President of the Calder Action Group Inc we thank you for your email and future plans for Victoria.

As you might not be aware our group has advocating since the 7th June 2007 to improve the Calder Freeway in the Brimbank and Keilor area’s. More recently Melton as a flow on area.

It’s been over a decade since any major investment on the ground for the freeway has taken place apart from continual planning and business cases have failed to materialise.

We believe another business case has been completed for the Calder Park/Calder Freeway Interchange and seek your support in parliament for this project as we approach the 2023/24 State Budget.

The Northwest Corridor for the Calder Freeway is getting more congested and accident prone owing to the large scale housing developments Sydenham, Hillside, Diggers Rest and Sunbury to name a few.

We look forward to your response on the above as we work together for a better Victorian State.
